Description
The research, of a qualitative type with a critical-social approach and from the action research method, was carried out on thirty 10th grade students from the San José Educational Institution in the municipality of Curumaní, Cesar. The objective revolved around promoting environmental education through a pedagogical proposal. To collect the information, the interview, observation, and the field diary were used. The implementation took place in academic work at home and, virtual interviews through the Zoom and Google Meet platforms. The findings obtained allowed to evidence a disorder in the structure of environmental values and a lack of education and environmental culture in the institution, which is why it is recommended to delve into issues related to the level of environmental values that students have about activities that they carry out, the protection and care of natural resources such as soil, land and water and the prior knowledge they possess.
