Descripción
Coffee from Funes, Nariño, has gained recognition for its high quality and variety. The objective of this paper is to identify the commercial factors that influence its competitiveness. The study includes a comprehensive analysis of production conditions, innovative processes, target markets and potential partners. A case study approach was adopted, using a mix of qualitative and quantitative techniques. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key actors in the coffee sector and surveys of local producers and then analyzed using a multiple regression model that allowed the identification of key relationships between variables that affect competitiveness. The results indicate that although Funes faces challenges such as high production costs and logistical problems, its focus on quality and organic practices gives it a competitive advantage in the international market. However, there is a need to improve logistics infrastructure and strengthen support services to maximize export competitiveness.Ítems relacionados
