This article is proposed in a three-voice conversation, with the objective of reflecting on family studies for in situ therapeutic accompaniment. The discussion is given around the place of transformations of mental structures and practices to agitate change and promote movements in the family system; the possibilities for action from the in situ as a vital experience of relationship for the benefit of the group and its context are reviewed. By way of conclusion, a series of benefits and challenges that are visible through professional action with families at home, recognizing their territory, is unleashed; the strengthening of accompaniments in context is stimulated to broaden the focus and break the practical limits generated in the office to promote family development with human systems in their own home.
