DOI:  https://doi.org/10.31948/rev.criterios/26.1-art1 The objective of this research is to present the results of the case study of the evaluation and analysis of indicators of the production of Russian tarragon (Artemisia dracunculoides) of two production models: the organic and conventional, through the point of economic equilibrium and the cost benefit ratio. The study was carried out between January 2015 and March 2016, taking as a result of these annual indicators, that the values in the organic model were 0,83 and 0,24 respectively, that is <1 and in the conventional model of 12,37 and 2,43 that is >1.To this end, it was necessary to inquire about accurate information to evaluate and analyze the point of economic equilibrium and the cost benefit ratio, in the production processes of tarragon for export, of the organic (San Vicente de Ferrer) and conventional production models (Rionegro), through the characterization of the enterprises, plots, and production models, in order to make the respective comparisons of the results of the indicators mentioned.
