Descripción
Through the research process, theoretical perspectives related knowledge areas were identified: Spanish Language, Science and Environmental Education, Religious Education, Ethics and Values, Social Sciences and Geography. Similarly, the main concepts related to Human Formation were described, present in the work of graduate studies in the past five years by students and teachers of undergraduate and graduate programs, from Universidad Mariana, Universidad de Nariño, and Institución Universitaria Centro de Estudios Superiores María Goretti. Methodologically the research focused on the qualitative paradigm, with hermeneutical historical approach, by using specifically the type of research documentary content analysis, by applying the inductive method based on recurrences articulated by stages, supported by the data analysis procedure called “distilling information”, which as a methodological guide, allows systematically reach a quality categorization and from there, generate theory to interpret afterwards.The social relevance of this study lies in the development of a state of the art which shows the current status of educational and teaching research in Pasto; at the same time, it constitutes a practical information tool that can be used to delve into new research, and contribute to strengthening academic higher education institutions and their respective education units.
