The research result article below, used the mixed paradigm with qualitativeprevalence, oriented from a descriptive - interpretative approach to the multiplecase study, whose purpose was to analyze the incidence of the interventionmechanisms against school violence in Escuela Normal Superior and ColegioFilipense “Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza” of Pasto. It is concluded that schoolviolence is present through verbal aggression and bullying, which are carriedout by aggressors, victims and spectators, immersed in factors related tofamily, academic and / or disciplinary problems, the environment, the society,the media and the school, with consequences associated with psychological vulnerability, school failure and dropout, and classroom disruption. A strategy of intervention in the face of this problem is needed, in such a way as favors dialogue and democratic consensus, as Lou Marinoff’s PEACE method suggests.
