This research paper evidences the results from the academic research entitled “Didactic components in Teachers in Training in Early Childhood Education Program in Mariana University towards the improvement of their pedagogical practicum”, since those were helpful tools that allow them their appropriation and implementation inside the classroom.This research held a qualitative design because there was a reflective insight of the subjects, teachers in training from the Preschool Education Program in Pasto and Tumaco, based on the hermeneutical approach whose main objective was to comprehend and interpret the reality, the meaning and the intentions from the subjects studied, looking for the building of new knowledge; therefore, this was a descriptive study because there was a precise description of the situations, habits and attitudes from the activities, objects, processes and subjects.It is also important to emphasize that as a conclusion, the conceptions of the teachers in training about the didactic components showcased these teachers as learning facilitators, children care takers, context experts, strategy users and preschool-content organizers.
