The purpose of this article is to show the most relevant results found in the research entitled Use of Affective Pedagogy in the teachers of the educational institutions San Sebastián - Yascual, Túquerres, San Juan Bautista – Los Andes, and Diego Luis Córdoba – Linares, Nariño. The research was based on the multi-method paradigm with a mixed approach and paradigmatic type of research. There was a sample of 86 teachers, to whom the scale of the influence of affective pedagogy, a structured interview of crossed narratives, and a structured observation were applied. After the statistical analysis and the consistency of the variables, it was concluded that most of the teachers interviewed are aware of the existence of affective pedagogy and have a theoretical and empirical approach to its conceptualization. Therefore, they consider its application important to improve the academic performance and the emotional dimension of their students, as well as to improve the academic climate and the student-teacher relationship.
