Descripción
The purpose of this documentary review was to synthesize the findings on spirituality in educational contexts in Latin America over the last decade. A total of 62 papers were included. It is noteworthy that the vast majority of the studies emphasized the positive aspects of spirituality, thus taking an innovative stance on this issue. In addition, it has been observed that research with a qualitative paradigm is most relevant in this area, as greater emphasis is placed on a comprehensive understanding of spirituality in educational settings, rather than a purely quantifiable one. Finally, it is proposed to deepen in the creation of statistical and participatory action models to generate knowledge from the linkage of this variable in educational institutions.
