This article presents the results of the self-evaluation process for accreditation purposes of the Occupational Therapy program at the Universidad Mariana. The main objectives were to promote the culture of self-evaluation and continuous quality improvement to guarantee the offer of an academic program with a high level of excellence, as well as to identify institutional and program strengths in order to establish improvement actions and articulate them with the Institutional Development Plan. The methodology focused on the analysis of the twelve factors and the forty-eight quality characteristics considered in the Guidelines for the Quality Accreditation of Academic Programs of the National Accreditation Council. It also presents the results of the matrices mentioned in the self-evaluation model, which includes the activities carried out by the academic community in general. It should be noted that the Occupational Therapy program is accredited for several reasons.
