Among the results, emerging categories were found such as: the experience of feeling like you are in danger, covering yourself vs getting infected, helplessness, when time becomes eternal, feeling rejection and discrimination, a light in the middle of the darkness, a virus that taught us to value more the family. The investigation concluded that the nursing staff had fear of becoming infected or dying, helplessness at not being able to help patients, witnessing many deaths, rejection by society for being health workers, and they agreed that vaccines were the only solution to this problem.
