The Cube Lagoon is a wetland belonging to the great lake biome ecosystem, it takes the classification for Wetlands recognized by Ramsar, is divided into two zones: The Flooded Zone and the Flood Zone, it is located inside the Mache Ecological Reserve Chindul. The objective of this research was to carry out the environmental evaluation produced by the use of agrochemicals in the Laguna de Cube wetland, where species of flora and fauna were identified in different sites of the wetland taken at random. In addition, the ecosystem services of the wetland were listed based on the information obtained through surveys, which were validated by a panel of experts and Crombach's Alpha, in the same way, inclusion and exclusion criteria were used to collect information from the participants. The chemicals that are being used by the neighboring wetlands in their anthropogenic activities were identified, mainly agriculture and livestock, it was observed that there is contamination due to the effects of chemical products on the edges of the wetland, affecting mainly the species that they serve as food for those around them. In the same way, it was possible to observe the lack of knowledge of the ecosystem services on the part of the neighbors, despite the fact that most of them have lived for more than 20 years in this place. On the other hand, it was possible to observe a significant number of species of plants, birds, mammals, chelonians, reptiles such as the alligator, crocodiles, becoming representative species of the Laguna de Cube wetland.
