Case study of a patient with invasive hemodynamic monitoring with acute respiratory distress syndrome. Patient referred from the Hospital of Tumaco for respiratory failure, with a history of HIV five years ago, with antiretroviral treatment, discontinued three months ago. Patient with a clinical picture of two days of evolution, characterized by pleuritic pain in left hemithorax associated with dry cough, progressive respiratory difficulty, which requires management in an intensive care unit.
