Description
This article is the result of the construction of a state of the art within the research process called “Etho-political pedagogy from the appropriation of ancestral knowledge of organizations of Afro-Colombian women surviving victims” assigned to the Doctorate of Education and Society of La Salle University. The text notifies a document review exercise where the initiatives of collective of women’s victims are located around the generation of proposals within the framework of collective reparation within the current Law 1448 on Victims and Land Restitution of 2011, which is currently available. The state of the art manages to dimension the multiple proposals that Afro-Colombian women victims have consolidated in order to make visible the cultural and ancestral value of their knowledge regarding collective reparation processes. In this sense, they emphasize the political place of this knowledge and the healing and transformative potential that they have in the daily life of their communities, from symbolic, substantive and operational dimensions that must be taken into account in the processes of collective reparation with the Afro-Colombian populations. Therefore, the writing at first refers to the historical struggle of these communities to understand the political demands from there; subsequently, it locates collective initiatives and their reflections on collective reparation and, finally, exposes some conclusions that aim to contribute to thinking of Afro-reparation as an approach to work in these processes.
