This article was born as a result of understanding how playful can contribute to the strengthening of ethical values in students attached to the educational centers of the San Alejandro institution in the municipality of Guaitarilla, Nariño, Colombia. The fulfillment of the goals in this research was based on a qualitative methodology, since from the experiences of the participants (teachers / students) in the classroom, it was facilitated to achieve the objectives set. In the same way, working from a historical-hermeneutical approach allowed highlighting how these experiences are interpreted in the daily life of the classroom. In addition, through a type of descriptive-comprehensive research, it was facilitated to organize and make sense of the reality evidenced throughout the study. The emerging findings of the study showed that for both teachers and students, playfulness is considered a favorable pedagogical strategy towards the integral teaching-learning of values. Thanks to the elements found, it was concluded that there is a direct relationship between the components of playfulness and the consolidation of values, because to the extent that flexible strategies are implemented in the teaching processes, appropriation, internalization and practice of values can be more successfully ensured in the different scenarios of life.
