Description
Learning English is an important skill within the educational process, given its widespread use in global contexts. The objective of this research was to contribute to the teaching and learning of the English language, through a strategy based on the VAK Model in fourth-grade students of the ‘Leónidas Acuña’ Educational Institution in the Valledupar municipality, Cesar, Colombia. Methodologically, it was inscribed in the qualitative paradigm, socio-critical approach, and pedagogical action research as a method, deployed in three phases: deconstruction, reconstruction, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the practice. It started from an observation. To record the information, the field diary and systematization were used. The results indicated advances in the development of communicative and linguistic skills, through activities and resources aimed at the perception, understanding, and application of knowledge, considering their learning channels.
