The objective of this research was to strengthen the competence of textual production in the area of language through a Digital Learning Environment in fifth-grade students. A research model was used under a multi-method paradigm with quantitative dominance, an empirical analytical and social critical approach; type of descriptive research. It was based on the design and implementation of an ICT-mediated pedagogical strategy that, creatively and dynamically, could transform the teaching process in the area of language and lead to improving the textual production process. According to the quantitative findings, the pedagogical activities and the technological resources designed constituted a good complement to the traditional teaching process, which strengthened the teaching in its semantic, syntactic, and pragmatic components and generated an effective pedagogical strategy and an enhancing element. since it helped the student to produce texts with coherence and cohesion, it strengthened the textual argumentation, the techniques of organization, and the progression of ideas and created adequate textual planning. The qualitative findings revealed that the digital resources, due to their content and dynamics, drew attentionto the thematic content, while the interactive activities increased student participation, establishing themselves as key elements in strengthening oral and written competence, developing different abilities, allowing to overcome a large part of the shortcomings presented by the students at the beginning of this investigation.
