 The objective of this work was to evaluate three dimensions of assertiveness through the Multidimensional Assertiveness Scale in adolescents belonging to the Nerete - Tumaco Educational Center (Nariño). The study was oriented from the quantitative paradigm, descriptive type, with analytical empirical approach and transversal design; from non-probabilistic sampling, it was counted with 31 participants between 15 and 17 years old. As a valuation strategy, the EMA scale was used, which analyzes the dimensions: non-assertiveness, indirect assertiveness, and assertiveness. It was determined that the majority of adolescents present the dimension of assertiveness and therefore have an adequate level of ability to express themselves in a balanced way; most students do not use indirect means to communicate.
