Descripción
This article presents the results concerning the problem identified in an institution in the city of Pasto, whose general objective was: To analyze the incidence of pre-dance in the development of corporal expression of the first grade of the Liceo Ronditas de San Juan in Pasto. It was a qualitative research with a hermeneutical approach; 25 students: 14 girls and eleven boys, ranging from 5 to 6 years old were the Unit of analysis. As the main result, it was identified that strategies such as pre-dance, are the appropriate way to strengthen body awareness and to implement body movement as a mechanism of relationship between human beings. It is concluded that, by acquiring bodily concepts, students develop bodily knowledge and identify the extent of their body, to later internalize and communicate it through the art and creativity of their movements.
