This research provides specific data for health agencies, business sector and higher education institutions, which can contribute to strengthening the exercise and professional training of physiotherapists. Objectives: describe the socio-labor and professional training conditions of physiotherapist Mariana University graduates. Materials and methods: quantitative, descriptive and transversal approach, based on the application of a survey. The analysis and processing was performed with statistical package SPSS version 3.0. Results: 115 physiotherapists participated, predominantly the female gender (76%), 86% work and from these 70% work in private companies, with contracts for the provision of services (50%), earning between 1 to 2 minimum wage (44%). The predominant work activity was caring (68%); the musculoskeletal area being the one with the highest performance (52%). Conclusion: following a national trend, it is evident that young women predominate in their professional practice, with a current critical situation of the type of hiring and salary earned.
