Descripción
The purpose of this article is to reflect on the need to propose alternatives that promote changes in beliefs, attitudes, values and behaviors towards the conservation, protection and care of nature and its ecosystem services. Although environmental education is considered an element of cultural transformation through the use of pedagogical and didactic tools, there is still a gap in the incorporation of the environmental dimension in the university context, in relation to the teaching-learning process.The present analysis addresses a proposal of environmental play at the University of Amazonia, which considers play strategies as an alternative that allow the student to explore the socio-environmental reality of the region and encourage participation in the search for answers to the multiple questions that emerge due to the global environmental crisis and uncertainty about the future.
