The main objective of this study was to know the job performance of the Occupational Therapists graduated from the Universidad Mariana between 2010-2014, identifying sociodemographic characteristics, fields of action and professional qualification needs in order to foster the generation of training strategies derived from the Occupational Therapy program. The research is quantitative, analytical empirical descriptive type. The sample was 40 graduates of the Occupational Therapy program of Universidad Mariana.In order to collect the information, the virtual survey technique was applied, which showed that 65% of the graduates are working in the health field and 20% in the field of education. The characterization of the variables of the work profile allows knowing the necessities that favor the program and to the future graduates, by which it is identified that in the fields of health and education there is a greater labor demand. Each of the fields of action and the services they provide are the fundamental basis for an excellent job performance, which gives them great job opportunities at the national level. The strengthening of the knowledge acquired through diplomas, specializations or master’s degrees contributes to the future graduates in the enrichment of their capacities and abilities, allowing them to perform in the labor world.
