The interest to undertake the current research started from a first approach to the population of Manzano Village. There were found many different characteristics which are socially inherited and affect the ways of thinking, feeling and acting.These assignments are revealed significantly when referring to the relationship man - natural environment, the use of the population’s natural resources and the beneficial use of them, taking into account characteristics such as stereotypes, meanings and behaviours in the interaction with the community and environment.This paper shows the particular relation between some rural families and their natural environment from the meanings that they construct based on their gender role.
