Desarrollo de un sistema hidropónico tubular para la producción de hortalizas como apoyo al fortalecimiento de autosuficiencia de la mujer rural en el Contadero
Abstract
Hydroponic gardens or cultivations allow the cultivation of plants
without the need to use harvesting resources such as fertile soil. Through this
method, various plant species can be cultivated, and it enables the utilization of
unconventional sites such as terraces, walls, and others. "Hydroponics is seen as a
solution to the growing decrease in agricultural areas due to pollution, desertification,
climate change, and the disproportionate growth of cities" (Giménez, Daniel, 2015).
The purpose of establishing a hydroponic garden in the municipality of El Contadero
is to raise awareness about the improper use of agricultural land, as excessive
fertilizer use and poor care lead to soil deterioration. Additionally, the aim is to
contribute to the empowerment of rural women's self-sufficiency. Furthermore, there
is a desire to highlight the influence of automation in hydroponic systems, as the
automation process is implemented to enhance the efficiency and precision of the
processes involved in the development and growth of plants.
