Descripción
This article shows the result of an investigation on how to mainstream environmental values, as a pedagogical strategy for the first-grade curriculum of the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Educational Institution in Orito, Putumayo, in which 30 students from group 1-2 were taken as a sample. The research becomes relevant when the question arises: How to mainstream environmental values in a pedagogical strategy for the first-grade curriculum of the Jorge Eliecer Gaitán Educational Institution in Orito, Putumayo? which leads to the contribution of new knowledge about the ways of mainstream pedagogical practices to promote the environmental values that first-grade students should acquire, being feasible and pertinent the implementation of actions from the educational field through the flexibility of the curriculum and the design of a proposal that contains environmental education strategies. The proposal is innovative because it promotes comprehensive and interdisciplinary educational processes, where environmental values are considered as training patterns to involve different subjects through the planning of environmental issues, to promote a transversal component according to the reality of the context.
