The dynamics of psychoactive substances (SPA) can be presented in different everyday scenarios and entertainment, directly or indirectly affecting the community generally. The decision by the person consuming SPA, has become a complex problem, given that the look should not focus on the substance as such, but on the individual and the different variables that take you to make that decision. Empty emotional, family, government guidelines, the values that are generated today, the dynamics of health and why not, discrimination and stigma are determinants that influence to dive into this problem.It is for this that there is a need to promote strategies, from alternative and community mod-els, allowing addressing socially relevant issues, such as substance use. Since the framework of the national policy for reducing consumption of SPA and its impact (2007), University Orientation Zones (ZOU) as a networking strategy, arising from the social and participatory inclusion of the various actors in university communities to generate opportunities to listen and support to the growing demand for effective responses, based on knowledge of reality, evidence of systematic research and evaluation of actions. (Doc. “Guideline for Zones Uni-versity Orientation”)In Nariño, Pasto and specifically since 2013, with the help of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, it began with the implementation of the areas of University Orientation (ZOU) strategy, from which it has been making a collective work in partnership with the various Insti-tutions of Higher Education (National Learning Service SENA CESMAG Institution University Cooperative University of Colombia, University of Nariño), with the operator to the Mariana University, who have taken the challenge of being pioneers in the construction and development of particular experiences that have allowed the strengthening and sustaining the strategy over time. At EU level, the strategy begins to take shape from the mobilization of actors who want to change the situation perceived as problematic, identifying a mental construct this and possible solutions. the ZOU strategy, through the collective construction of knowledge, from participato-ry assessment of the tools themselves Eco2 model seeks actors of a community, not just worry about the problems generated by the use of psychoactive substances, but rather than through their strengths and potential to address this, to provide timely and comprehensive care so that there is no discrimination, no stigmatization, let alone to be excluded, people who are related to the consumption of SPA.Thus, as from the areas of vocational guidance, has been tended by the transformation of social representations, consumption of psychoactive substances, which generate exclusion, stigmatiza-tion and unsafe, invited the society to opt for a position social inclusion and community empow-erment, providing services that promote the improvement of the quality of life and mitigating risks and harms associated with the use of SPA.
