The general objective is framed in evaluating the variation and spatio-temporal movement of the concentration of nitrates in the saturated zone of the soil, through a succession of wells in a transect near the Laguna de la Cocha, village of El Motilón, corregimiento El Encano, the research line is environmental because it aims to determine the degree of contamination that the saturated zone of the soil presents in the Encano corregimiento, Laguna de la cocha, caused by the concentration of nitrates generated by the viscera of trout scattered on the land; It is of a quantitative nature, because it is intended to evaluate the type of contamination of the water resource with different tools and statistical data that will determine the pollutants that the saturated zone of the soil presents. On the other hand, it can be evidenced that the highest concentrations are in the places that are farthest from the La Cocha lagoon, the highest concentration data is found in well T1 with an average value of 12.94 mg / L .
