Description

This research determined the judgments that students have about Economic and Financial Education, by analyzing the variables: Concepts and Development of the subject or projects. Following subvariables were taken into account: Contents (budget, savings, debt management, banking services and financial negotiations), Methodological strategies, and School and family application, through the indicators: Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes.The analysis of the graphs allowed us to affirm that the students had some experience around Economic and Financial Education. This affected in some way the formation of notions, concepts and structures related to the subject, which is why many of them manifested a clear conception of savings, budget, debt management, banking services and financial negotiations, with a certain skill level. However, the lack of an institutional policy that encourages financial practices prevents attitudes from being the most desirable.
