Description

This article presents the results of the research, whose general objective was to improve the linguistic skills of listening and speaking through Project-Based Learning in two high schools located on Nariño. This project was done on the 10th and 11th courses because these students had some difficulties managing these skills when comprehending, interpreting, and answering English information. For this reason, the research had a mixed approach. The instruments were a standardized PET test for listening and speaking analyzed quantitatively, and an interview whose results were analyzed qualitatively. The PET test was applied at the beginning and the end of the research; it demonstrated the feasibility of the proposal because the students improved in the mentioned linguistic skills.
