Description

This article arises from a study carried out at the Higher Normal Educational Institution of Pitalito, with the aim of energizing the democratic participation of the student government through a didactic proposal where the educational community is trained for the exercise of citizenship in different scenarios. To address this, limits were identified that hinder student participation, including the lack of a democratic culture, affecting the family, school and community at large. The approach was carried out from the qualitative paradigm, with the purpose of having an approach to the daily life of the participants, their beliefs, subjectivities, values and motivations, taking into account that is where you can understand how people build their reality. Finally, a proposal was designed in a didactic module containing different practical workshops to reach all members of the educational community, in a relevant way, seeking to impact from the training processes and contribute to the transformation of the democratic and participatory process.
