Description
The present article is derived from a research whose objective was to strengthen the learning of Social Sciences by means of the problematic question in the students of the Center of Education La Florida of the municipality Becerril, Cesar. Methodologically, it was located in the post-positivist paradigm, in the pedagogical action research. Its design was deployed in three phases: the first is deconstruction, the second is reconstruction, the third is the evaluation of the effectiveness of the practice. The instruments used were a semi-structured interview and the field journal. The unit of work consisted of 18 eighth grade students. The results expressed that the students were encouraged to think critically, interpret, argue and analyze the 1991 Constitution, which guarantees rights, ensures peaceful coexistence and a just order; then, why is violence a constant in Colombian society? It was concluded that the application of the strategies that supported the problematizing questions helped students to achieve critical thinking through interpretations, analysis and judgments about learning situations related to violence in Colombia.
