Descripción
Environmental education is a process that allows the individual to understand the relationships of interdependence with the environment from the reflexive and critical knowledge of reality from a systemic perspective. This is favored when contextualized pedagogical strategies are incorporated into the school environment that make possible the development and free expression of students, so that they internalize and be aware of the importance of protecting those natural, social and cultural resources provided by the ecosystem. This research was developed at the La Calera Educational Center in the Páramo de Chiles, through a qualitative paradigm, with a critical-social approach and an action research; this methodology guided the research development for the strengthening of knowledge through environmental training and the rescue of ancestral beliefs in students, teachers and parents of the third, fourth and fifth grades, through pedagogical strategies such as play, Learning Based in Problems, the pictograms, the ‘tulpa’ of thought and the dramatization, which significantly impacted in the community, managing to recognize that culture is the bridge between scientific knowledge and empirical knowledge of a context.Ítems relacionados
