Description

This article is a thematic review of the basic concepts related to the welfare and human occupation, to establish the research group line of Occupational Therapy program, presented at the National call for the recognition and measurement of research groups, of the Science, Technology and Innovation National System (SNCTeI) 2015. The search was conducted in databases such as: Scielo (Collection of Hispanic scientific articles in scientific journals), Redalyc (Network of scientific journals of Latin America and the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal), Dialnet (Alert service on publication of scientific content) and Google Scholar. It was concluded for the formation of the group, with the line of research called ‘Occupation, Participation, and Welfare’, with three thematic axes denominated: Community, Health and Innovation, and Disciplinary Pedagogy.
