KUSNY coff ee, gourmet quality coff ee, is produced and marketed by 240 families of the Inga de Aponte Reservation, Tablón de Gómez, Nariño. Due to geographical conditions, ancestral practices and increasing organic production, this coff ee is of exceptional quality. However, the standard of living of its producers is very low.This research was carried out in consultation with the indigenous authorities of Aponte and made it possible to identify the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities in the production, processing and marketing of coff ee, in order to propose a plan for improvement in the links of the chain, emphasizing on marketing, which will increase the income of coff ee farmers in the framework of the Life Plan of this reservation.The Cabildo has made innumerable eff orts to position the Kusny Café in the specialty coff ee market, which has diff erential prices for quality and generates competitiveness.
