The present study aimed to find the relationship between the engagement construct and the working environment of 30 employees of an electrical marketer of San Juan de Pasto. It focused on the characterization of the working environment and their dimensions: style, remuneration, cohesion, strategy and structure, the above are the result of an organizational diagnosis, which showed a low score on these aspects, which are resumed as dimensions to build the instrument created specifically for the dynamics of the organization of study, called CLIMLAB CE which means working environment in electrical trading. Also, it was analyzed the level of Engagement and its respective categories: force, absorption and dedication, using the Uwes test. The constructs in question have no relationship of any kind, for this reason, it assumed as a hypothesis of ar-gumentation the changing aspect of the work environment and its specific situation-dependent trait, which contrasted with the engagement are isolated by its independent nature to direct situations of the middle and/or temporary improvement. Jointly, it found significant relationships of the dedication with style and remuneration variable, work climate and dedication, as well as force-absorbing. This research was part of a correlational study, cross-cutting and its final phase proposes a plan of improvement according to results.
