En el presente trabajo de grado se contempla el análisis de los diferentes métodos de pavimentos flexibles usados comúnmente en Colombia y los empleados en países con mayor desarrollo como Francia y Australia. Este comparativo consiste en el análisis de los componentes económicos y de persistencia en el tiempo, para ser aplicados a cierto tramo perteneciente a la red terciaria de Sn Juan de Pasto. Con base a los resultados obtenidos se observan las ventajas y desventajas que conlleva el empleo de dichos métodos de diseño, logrando obtener la metodología adecuada con la finalidad de ofrecer una estructura de pavimento optima, resistente a la acumulación de energía debido a repeticiones de cargas y posteriormente ser implementada en el tramo Cruz Loma-Jongovito aportando al mejoramiento vial, enfatizando variables técnicas y presupuestales.
The purpose of this proposal is to analyze the different methods of flexible pavements commonly used in Colombia and those used in more developed countries such as France and Australia. This comparative consists of the analysis of the economic components and persistence over time, to be applied to a certain section belonging to the tertiary network of San Juan de Pasto. Based on the results obtained, the advantages and disadvantages of the use of these design methods are observed, obtaining the adequate methodology with the purpose of offering and optimal pavements structure, resistant to the accumulation of energy due to load repetitions and later to be implemented in the Cruz Loma- Jongovito section, contributing to the road improvement, emphasizing technical and budgetary variables.
