Abstract

This text is the result of a theoretical exercise, in order to account for the contributions of Sigmund Freud to understand the psyche. As such, and as Lacan had announced at the time, his writing and intentionality is the last name of the work and contribution Freud made and continues to make from the three major axes that constitute the structure of Psychoanalysis, that is, its theoretical corpus, your device and clinical research perspective. With these references central reading journey made by Freud to suggest that psychoanalysis can indeed be regarded as a wound to the narcissism of humanity, in the same way that in their time were the theories of Copernicus, Darwin and Einstein. Psychoanalysis founded a new scientific discipline around a central concept: the unconscious, from which will emerge regarding effects on understanding the clinical structures, sexuality, daily life and its clinical application analytics.
