Abstract

The study was developed through the general objective of evaluating the effect of an educational intervention on the knowledge of sexual and reproductive rights and family planning in ninth and tenth grade students of the educational institution of the municipality of Mallama, period 2024, in addition, in it The sociodemographic characteristics of the students were identified, the initial knowledge was described, after which the educational intervention was implemented and finally its effect was determined through the knowledge acquired during this process. The research was based on the quantitative paradigm, an analytical empirical approach of a quasi-experimental type, the findings showed that in the initial process there is a gap in knowledge, however, after the implementation of the topics addressed, it was possible to increase knowledge regarding the topics addressed. being one of the positive aspects that were generated in the students, even more so if one takes into account that they are at an age of growth and continuous learning.
