Resumen
The analysis of myoelectric signals produced by the movement of the fingers of the upper limbs are very important in the field of clinical research. Currently, there are different methods for the acquisition and analysis of these signals of bioelectric activity aimed at identifying diseases such as carpal tunnel (STC). This article discusses the methodological process for developing a low-cost prototype capable of reliably acquiring and characterizing EMG signals. Signals are captured from a series of electrodes and filtered through the use of analog low-pass, high-pass and notch filters. Preliminary results showed that the prototype allows the capture of flexion-extension signals from the fingers of the hand. © 2020, Associacao Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informacao.
