Resumen

Abstract This research focuses on the development of a monograph on an experimental protocol based on the incorporation of nanomaterials into concrete. A literature review was conducted, using the prism method to gain a deeper understanding of the use of nanomaterials in modifying concrete properties. This allowed us to identify the most recent advances and challenges encountered in the existing literature. This review provided a basis for the appropriate selection of nanomaterials and guided the design of the experimental protocol. The selection of appropriate nanomaterials is crucial to ensuring the success of improving concrete properties. Since there is a wide variety of nanomaterials, it is essential to identify those materials that prove most effective in improving the physical and mechanical properties of concrete. The results obtained were based on a systematic literature review and technical and practical criteria, which allowed for an informed and industrially applicable selection. An experimental protocol will be developed to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the selected nanomaterials for improving concrete properties. Clear procedures were established for the preparation of modified concrete mixtures, as well as for the systematic evaluation of their mechanical properties. The impact of nanomaterials on concrete performance was determined, providing data for optimizing their application in the construction industry.
