Abstract

ABSTRACT: The matrix analysis must take into account the factors that affect the durability of the test tubes, which is why, once analyzed in a matrix manner, they proceed to deteriorate through carbonation and oxidation reactions by acid, since these damages are the ones that are most present in daily life. The different factors that affect are: the environment, geographical area, service conditions, material characteristics, carbonation, sulfate attack, chemical attack, seawater attack, acid attack, wear, weathering, erosion, freeze-thaw cycles, cement alkalis that are chemical reactions with aggregates, corrosion, erosion and temperature changes.
