Descripción
The objective to analyze the contributions of the application of the Individual Reasonable Adjustment Plan model to the strengthening of the inclusion of students with disabilities in the eighth grade in the area of social sciences at the Colegio Nuestra Señora de Fátima in the city of Valledupar, Cesar. The study was carried out under the sociocritical paradigm and qualitative approach, and was framed in action research. This study was developed in three phases: in the first, the needs or problems were identified with the aim of providing a solution; in the second, the plans were drawn up; and in the third, these plans were implemented and evaluated. The work unit consisted of 30 eighth grade students, all male and between the ages of 13 and 14. Of these, four students have special conditions that are already diagnosed and medicated. An interview, a field diary and a test using the Padlet tool were used to collect information. By using the model, the students showed joy and satisfaction in teamwork, which favored a good learning level. This allowed them to communicate assertively and, through collaboration and mutual support, they managed to achieve the different goals proposed in each meeting. The Individual Reasonable Adjustment Plan has made a positive contribution to the design and management of an inclusive educational environment.
