Descripción
To develop the critical thinking of sixth-grade students in the area of Spanish language at the Escuela Buena Vista, in the municipality of Becerril, Cesar, through the didactic strategy of Project Based Learning (PBL). For this purpose, an assessment and evaluation of the achievements and results obtained after the application of the didactic strategy was carried out. The study was framed in a qualitative approach, under the modality of participatory action research. Classroom observations were carried out, questionnaires and interviews were applied, and field diaries were analyzed to evaluate the impact of project-based learning on students’ critical thinking skills, making a comparative analysis of the results. In the second application of the Cornell level X test, a significant improvement was observed in all the variables evaluated. Project-based learning has formed students as reflective and autonomous learners, capable of facing the challenges of today’s world with an analytical and proactive mentality.
