Physical fitness and body composition are variables affected by physical inactivity or inadequate physical preparation processes in schools, which affect the health and performance of the athlete and increase the risk of disease due to the absence of trained professionals. Aim: To determine the body composition and physical fitness levels of soccer athletes in the city of Pasto. Methods: A descriptive correlational cross-sectional study was performed, using the Fitness Gram battery for physical fitness and bioimpedance for body composition. Results: With respect to height for age in males, a predominance in the adequate range is observed; females are at risk of stunting; for physical fitness, strength is in the healthy physical qualification zone, as well as flexibility. In conclusion, the vast majority are in good physical condition.
