Descripción
The objective of this article was to strengthen the cultural identity focused on the knowledge of the cultural monuments of the city of Valledupar with transition children of the Gabush Kindergarten. Methodologically it was framed in the qualitative paradigm, under the method of pedagogical action research, whose design was deployed in three phases: the first was the deconstruction, the second was the reconstruction and, the third, the evaluation of the effectiveness of the practice. The population consisted of 20 students. The instruments were a questionnaire and a field diary; the didactic strategy was based on a booklet named ‘Knowing the cultural monuments of my city’, oriented to stimulate and promote the integral development of preschool children in their social-cultural environment. The results indicated that its application was successful, since the students learned about the cultural monuments of their city, strengthening their cultural identity.Ítems relacionados
