Descripción

This article is the result of the analytical, interpretative and critical review of documents, laws and jurisprudence related to the right of pedophiles to be forgotten, pedophilia and pederasty, meeting the main objectives of clarifying the concepts under discussion and formulating possible alternatives to the limitations to the labor market linkage of those who have been convicted of sexual crimes against children under fourteen. Through the use of the dogmatic, descriptive and precedent’s static analysis research type, it was concluded that pedophilia, being an incurable disease, must be treated in order to avoid its materialization in pederasty, and as a preventive measure of crimes, the Congress of the Republic of Colombia has the mission to regulate the databases’ handle of those convicted of these crimes through a statutory law.
