The objective of the research was to identify the actors of tourism management and support present in the municipality of Florencia, Caquetá, Colombia, for which an explanatory, exploratory methodology was applied, under the qualitative methodological approach of a hermeneutical nature, implementing as a technique, the documentary analysis to investigate the role required by the different touristic actors of the public and private sectors of the region, the legal persons and the social environment.As a support of the work, a discussion was held regarding studies that refer to the role of the actors in the development of tourism, their needs, progress and trade union work. The results made it possible to demonstrate the need for constant and committed coordination and interaction of all the actors at the local, departmental and national levels, in search of the achievement and management of resources, to develop social and business participation in favor of promoting tourism on the part of the organizations or promoting entities.
