This article defines an investment plan in the microcredit area, adapted from the research process oriented to micro-entrepreneurs in San Juan de Pasto, Colombia, based on the theoretical foundations of Yunus (1974), Banco de la República (2013) and Asobancaria (2014). The microcredit is the spine of microfinance and an essential tool for economic and social growth for low-income people and micro-entrepreneurs whose access to traditional banking systems is restricted.The implemented methodology was quantitative descriptive type, in which an analysis of the needs and characteristics of sources of financing micro entrepreneurs in the city of Pasto was done, through a structured survey format. The results demonstrate the need for resources for working capital for micro entrepreneurs, in order to expand their business and to have an alternative financial source to traditional banking, which on many occasions closes them the doors for not complying the requirements for the granting of loans.
