dc.description.abstractLos pacientes que padecen de tuberculosis beben someterse a un tratamiento acortado supervisado TAES,el cual le brinda las posibilidades de curación de la enfermedad, sin embargo, el incumplimiento del mismo le genera no curación y resistencia a los medicamentos, impidiéndoles una pronta recuperación. A este tratamiento se han sometido algunos integrantes del pueblo indígena Awa de la "UNIPA", quienes padecen esta enfermedad y por ende son albergados en el hogar de paso, reciben la alimentación y estadía, con la finalidad de que haya un cumplimiento en el tratamiento asignado para esta patología, a pesar de ello se evidenció abandono del tratamiento de tuberculosis, constituyéndose en un factor negativo para que haya adherencia y por ende la curación total de la enfermedad.
